I
found “A Simpler Life Pet and Personal
Services” through my local Civic Association Newsletter…And at just the
right time in the life of my animals.
My aging, 13 year old Golden Retriever
Mix was failing in health, and was diagnosed with congestive heart failure in
July 2009. She was immediately put on
heart medicine and Lasix, which caused increased urination. I was slated to return to work about 3 weeks
later, and I KNEW I was going to have to find someone to help care for Frannie,
while I was at work. I interviewed two
possible candidates for this job. While
both were very sensitive to my animals, Billie-Jo demonstrated a level of
professionalism that I really appreciated.
She was prompt and well prepared, and we seemed to have a connection,
based upon our professional backgrounds.
I hired Billie-Jo to care for my canine, but within approximately 2
months, she willingly stepped in to help out with my sickly feline,
Bridgette. Bridgette had been ill with
no diagnosis until the end of September 2009, when she was diagnosed with
Lymphoma. I knew her time was limited, but
I believe that she was able to survive longer than most in her situation because
Billie-Jo willingly provided needed care to her as well. In January 2010, my little Bridgette took her
last breath, and Billie-Jo was available to support me through this difficult
time.
Billie-Jo
always
keeps me posted (through detailed notes and phone calls if needed) on
the condition of my little ones while in her care. She is observant and goes above and beyond
what she was hired to do. She has a true
affection for animals and their owners.
This is not a “job” for her, but a passion.
I
sincerely appreciate all that Billie-Jo has done, and continues to do, to
support me and my family of animals. I
know Frannie loves when she comes to the house to care for her because she
feels her love and sincerity.
