Pet Services & Prices:

All prices below apply to areas South of Shrock Road, West of Sunbury Road, East of 315, & North of Oakland Park.  Other areas are available with an added travel fee (usually only $5.00.)  More areas becoming available for prices listed below as we continue to grow and add personnel!

Free - Initial Consult in your home for 1st Time Services

$15 - Additional Consults in your home for service changes, additional services, any reason requiring a trip to your home to perform future services

$15 - Key return - a trip to your home or other location to pick up or return your key or pick up payment

$20 - Nail Trims - Cats & Dogs!!!!!
 Fee is $20 trip to your home just for the purpose of a nail trim.  Discounts for nail trims in addition to other services already scheduled.

$15 - Play date in my home! Drop your dog off before you go to work, take a day trip, go shopping, or have guests over. Pick your dog up later knowing your dog will have had many opportunities for supervised play time in my secure, fenced in yard.  For the day, your dog will become one of the family in my home receiving feedings, opportunities to play and have plenty of potty breaks, and access to many comfy dog beds for a little doggy R&R.

$16 - for 8-11 minute visit for 1 pet:

• quick potty break;
  
• small cage pets;
  
• aquariums;
  
• quick cat feeding;
  
•  vacation visit to remove newspapers / mail / trash / alter lights / water plants
• dog bath & dry (only offered in your home using your supplies at this price with the purchase of another service)

$20 - Stay In My Home! Don't want your dog to go to a kennel yet you would like to save money by not purchasing a pet sitting  package in your home while you are away, have visiting relatives, or are just darn busy? Your dog can stay in my home where opportunities for ongoing TLC, playtime in a fenced in yard, frequent potty breaks, scheduled feedings, and supervised ongoing interaction with other friendly dogs! 

• $20 per 24 hour period.  Discounts for multiple dogs.  Limited space available!
• $12 for day play (up to 8 hours) OR overnight stay in my home

$20 - Pet Transport / Pick-Up One Way - to vet, my house, your home, groomer, etc.


Veterinary Visits - $20 Transport fee applies each way + $10 per hour spent at the vet
* Significant discounts offered for transport services & hourly rates for vet visits for clients utilizing the services of House Calls for Cats & Dogs or The Vet Clinic in Worthington!


$22 - for 12-20 minute visit:

(all these visits allow time for a little extra TLC and attention to your beloved pet or loved one)

• 10 minute dog walk or potty break with food / water changes & meds;
  
• cat visits including feeding, meds, TLC & litter box cleaning;
  
• multiple pet or multiple task visits requiring more than 13 minutes;
  
• check in on loved one with follow-up phone call / email;
• weekly yard waste removal for 1-4 dogs ($27 for 1st pick-up or removals more than 1 week apart - 50% discount on this service when provided with other services)

$30 - administration of subcutaneous fluids or insulin


$35 - The Dog Park!  We will pick up your dog for a trip to the Dog Park for a minimum of 20 minutes play time at the park!


$ 45 - The Over-Nighter! A Simpler Life Service Provider will stay overnight in your home for a period NOT to exceed 9 hours. 

$ 110 - The Full Sit! For a period of 24 hours, A Simpler Life Service Provider will operate out of your home.  Service providers may still need to meet a few other appointments during this time, but instead of returning to our own homes, we will temporarily reside in yours!  This package is for the pet lover who wants to maintain as much consistency in their pets' lives as possible.  The Full Sit includes scheduled feedings, daily yard waste removal and litter box cleaning, medication administration, trash removal, newspaper & mail retrieval, play time, 1 walk with up to 2 pets, plant watering, and ongoing TLC for your pets & your home.  The best part is your pets will get to hang out with one of our providers all day and night to ease the lonliness of missing you!  And, it will be more than apparent that "someone is home" adding to the security of your home while you are away.  And, rest assured, A Simpler Life Service Providers will NOT be having any guests over while caring for & residing in your home.  (This price applies to homes with 3 pets or less - each additional dog/ cat/ bunny/ ferret is $10 per pet)

Personal Services & Prices

Real Estate Relief!!!!!!!!! - in light of the challenges of the real estate market, A Simpler Life wants to help support you while you show your home or have an open house.  For a fee of $45, A Simpler Life will come to your home, pick up your pets, litter boxes, dog beds, etc., spray a refreshing home fragrance throughout your home, keep your pets for a period not to exceed 4 hours, and return your pets safely home to you. 
Or you may wish to drop off your pets at my home while you show your home - Play Date fees apply. 

Licensed PDP Providers - A Simpler Life has PDP providers on staff through Franklin County Board of Developmental Disabilities.  Fee - $17 per hour. If you already qualify for the Parent Directed Program through Franklin County Board of Developmental Disabilities, contact us to provide access to highly qualified, experienced PDP providers.  *All fees paid for this service go through the same payment routes you already utilize. 

Errand Running - priced by job

Laundry Services - Do you despise the laundromat or just doing laundry in general?  Do your clothes sit in the washer or dryer for days only to come out a wrinkled mess? Have you noticed the large increase in water, electric, and gas bills and know that doing laundry is increasing your utility expenses?

Can you imagine a life where your piles of dirty laundry disappear only to reappear clean, neatly folded, and smelling fresh? 

Well we love to do laundry!
Let A Simpler Life do your laundry for you!  You provide the detergents and softeners of your choice (or we can use our own products), and A Simpler Life will pick up your dirty laundry and return it to you clean and neatly folded for a round trip travel fee of $20 + $12-$15 per bushel! What a way to save time & stop spending money at the laundromat or reduce your water and electric bills by letting us do the laundry for you at our laundry site!!!!  With the increased costs of water & electric utilities, A Simpler Life can offer convenience while reducing your utility or laundromat costs.  Ironing services also offered & priced by garment. 

Special Education Consult - $30 per hour (on phone) $35 per hour (in person) - NO free initial consult on this service

Home Office Support - priced per project

Clutter Busters!!!!!!!!! does it look like a file cabinet exploded all over your home? Are you overwhelmed with papers, mail, and documents and just wish you could get all these papers under control while making them easily accessible for future use and tax preparation?  For a fee of $45, A Simpler Life will custom create and deliver a portable, plastic file box to your home that includes clearly labeled, organized hang files labeled to meet your individual needs.  We will consult with you to help you determine what you need and do all the preparation for you. Once you receive your file box, all you need to do is drop your appropriate papers in the appropriate hang file.  Never waste time looking for a long lost papers, utility bills, investment papers, medical bills, work papers, etc.!!!!!!!!!!!

Automotive Detailing - priced per vehicle, also available with significant discounts when purchasing "The Full Sit" service in your home for a period of 48 hours or more. How wonderful to return home to a clean car!

Home Cleaning Services - priced individually by job (free initial consult)  also featuring Home Organization, Special Projects, Home Clean-Outs, Garage and Estate Sale Preparation, etc. A Simpler Life has experienced cleaning staff and can work with or without you in teams of 1, 2, or more if requested! 
If you choose an hourly rate for our home cleaners and organizers -
 rates:
$14 per hour for One Cleaner (minimum 2 hour jobs)

$27 per hour for Two Cleaners (minimum 2 hour jobs)

(Windows and certain other projects are billed at $17 per person per hour)


Hoarding Helpers - for $38 per hour, a team of at least 2 Hoarding Helpers will come to your home to help you clean, sort, organize, keep & dispose of those items that have taken over your home & life.  A Simpler Life understands the sensitive nature of excessive hoarding & will provide encouragement, support, education, & suggest replacement behaviors for future management while assisting with the removal, cleaning, & organization of your surroundings. Further we will assist you in the coordination of other supports needed to tackle and conquer hoarding.


The Personal Assistant - priced per job. Discounts offered for ongoing, routine scheduling of A Simpler Life Personal Assistants.  Prices range from $20-$35 per hour depending on needs and the personal assistant you choose.  Prices can also be provided through estimates based on the project or need.  Don't hesitate to contact us regarding this service, we will do our best to work with you to meet your needs!

"I Need A Ride"  - priced per ride - Need to go to a Doctor's appointment? Have a loved one who needs to go to the doctor but you can't get away from work?  Need a ride to the airport?  Need a ride when dropping off or picking up your vehicle for service? Need a ride anywhere?  Give us a call!
*Payment for rides due upon arrival in Cash only or via PayPal prior to arrival for ride.

Check in on a Loved One - Put your mind at ease -you don't need a nurse, you don't need a home cleaner, you just need a caring, trustworthy person to check in on your loved one while you are busy, working long hours, traveling or ill.  Stop feeling guilty because your life does not permit you to be there as much as you would like for Your Loved One. For $25, A Simpler Life will stop by your Loved One's residence for a 45 minute visit.  While visiting, our staff will form a caring relationship with Your Loved One.  We will visit, make note of any details you are seeking, take out the trash & do one light household chore per visit, and and talk & listen to Your Loved One. We can do various activities with Your Loved One like reading, doing crosswords and puzzles together, or whatever Your Loved One may enjoy.  Upon conclusion of the visit, A Simpler Life will call you or send you an email with any updates regarding Your Loved One detailing our visit.  Take a sigh of relief, A Simpler Life is here to help. 


Teaching Your Child How to Train Their Dog & Be  A Responsible Dog Pet Owner - one of our favorite services. Have a new pet and want your child to become a responsible pet owner & pet caretaker?  Let one of our teachers or dog trainers come over for one-on-one sessions with your child & their pet. 


Personal Coaching - you have goals, you have dreams, you have a vision of how you would like your life to be different but you need a plan of how to get there.  We can help.  We offer many tools custom designed to your needs to provide Personal Coaching in any area of your life. 
Work one-on-one with our Personal Coach BJ Altier, M.Ed. through caring, educational, interactive, comprehensive, productive consultations.  By consulting with BJ, you will not only have a Coach, but an active, caring member on your Team!!!!


The Personal Shopper - would you like to update your wardrobe or make some changes to your style at a bargain?  At A Simpler Life, we are bargain and style experts!!!! Whether you are seeking to add some high end name brand NEW items to your wardrobe or wish someone could get you those same items at a reduced cost but you don't have time to dig and search through so much inventory at so many thrift stores, A Simpler Life can help! Twice per month, we send out a team for discount days in local thrift stores where we purchase mass quantities of items for our clients at a fraction of the cost - saving you time and money.  Or, if you wish, we can find items brand new at the stores of your choosing.  If you wish to be added to our list for our designated thrift store days, the fee is only a $15 personal consult plus the cost of clothes and $10 per hour travel and shopping time fee.  The same fees apply for any shopping we do for you in any stores of your choosing.  If you need to zip up your style or just add to your wardrobe, one of our team members will even shop with you to help you make decisions regarding your purchases.
